Peace of mind!
That's what JMBoron Privilege is all about. We know there are times when you may not have sufficient funds in your checking account. We recognize that a bounced check can be expensive and embarrassing. That's why we've added JMBoron Privilege Overdraft Protection Service as one more benefit to your checking account, to give you peace of mind. This privilege is not an encouragement to overdraw your account.
What is JMBoron Privilege?
This is a special overdraft protection service and benefit that we offer on our checking accounts. JMBoron Privilege may automatically cover an occasional and temporary overdraft that may happen. For personal accounts, overdrafts and fees up to a total of $500 may be covered. For business accounts, overdrafts and fees up to a total of $1,000 may be covered.
How does JMBoron Privilege cover you?
Should you ever make a transaction exceeding the available balance in your checking account, JMBoron will cover that overdraft up to your JMBoron Privilege coverage amount, as long as your account is in good standing. Our standard NSF fee will be charged. Good standing means that when you use your JMBoron Privilege service, you bring your account to a positive balance within 20 days after the first day overdrawn and you do not have any past due loans.

Repaying overdrafts covered by JMBoron Privilege
You should bring your account to a positive balance as soon as possible, but not later than 30 days after your account first becomes overdrawn. If you haven't been able to bring your account into a positive balance after 20 days, your account will be suspended from this privilege. If you haven't brought your account to a positive balance within 30 days, your account may be closed and we will work with you to bring your account to a positive balance.
Overdrafts exceeding your JMBoron Privilege Coverage
When an overdraft exceeds your predetermined overdraft coverage it may result in returning items such as checks and electronic debits (ACH) to the original payee. An NSF fee will be assessed against your account.
Multiple Checking Accounts
If you have multiple accounts, each of your eligible checking accounts can have a JMBoron Privilege coverage amount assigned to them. JMBoron Privilege overdraft protection can be used after you have first exhausted the available limits in your JMBoron line of credit, savings or money market accounts.
It's Your Choice
Having JMBoron Privilege is ultimately your decision. You may have the benefit removed from your account simply by completing our overdraft service waiver. Please contact an account representative at one of our branches. If later on you want to add JMBoron Privilege to your account, just let us know. As long as your account is in good standing and eligible, the JMBoron Privilege benefit will be reinstated.
